Map

These two maps are from the games Zelda and Eternal Odysseys. The reason why I choose these as my reference pictures is because they both have a balance. The second map has a balance on high grounds, and mountains vs flat plains. The map is key to a game because it helps develop the story as well. For the first image I like all of the vegetation thats going on. It gives it that urban look and brings it back to nature, which my map has nothing like that on yet. I want to build something like these two maps that are balance and elaborate enough for the character to find not only different places, but also help progress the game along.
This is a map of my game, and what it looks like so far. I have some mountains and hill, and I also have another high terrain. What I also want to add are some plants on the ground as well to make it look realistic as well. For the three levels in my map what I want to o is make it progressively harder as the player advances. This map would be like a level two. I want to take ideas from the terrain of Zelda, because it has a lot of things in common with what I want to try and build. Which is a landscape that the players can use their favor if they know how to use it.
The texture for my block.

This is my map once I added the texture.
